The Six Lines of Respect in Astrology
The Power of Six in the Zodiac
The code of conduct hidden within the Zodiac shows us our connection. Everything is connected to one consciousness. Our individuality is simply a thread of that consciousness, having a unique experience attuned to a specific aspect of the One. Within the One, are six currents of respect. In order to feel and honor our connected-ness, we must travel and experience each current routinely, throughout the whole of our material existence.
It is easy to say we are all connected to the One. But being able to articulate and grasp the concept is much different than practicing it and experiencing it, in every aspect of our daily lives. And what happens when we we are living it? Integrity becomes a reflex. When we are fully aware of our connection with the One, we don’t have to work at doing the right thing when no one is looking.
Consider this. When your arms are not able to lift a heavy object, is your first thought to eliminate your arms? When your legs do not carry you as quickly as you’d like, is your first instinct to cut off your legs? Of course not, that would be absurd. Our first instinct is to build up our bodies, to the level of functioning we would like, through exercise and practice. We know that losing an appendage is going to painful, it will bring suffering, and we will, forever, be handicapped by it. We have a built-in self-perseverance instinct, that helps us to power through, when our material body doesn’t meet our expectations.
When we agree to practice the six lines of respect within the Zodiac, we begin to feel and know our one consciousness, our collective body, the same way we feel and know our one, individual, material body. Every time an individual is on the receiving end, of our collective disregard for these essential currents of respect, pain is created, suffering occurs, and the wound forever impacts the whole. It is a handicap to all of us. And whereas wealth does not trickle down, suffering does. Suffering trickles down, up, and sideways. It is a disturbance in the Force, that once tapped into, can generate exponential suffering for everyone.
In our individual, material body, self-perseverance is a natural instinct. In our collective body, self-perseverance is a practice. Over time, the practice becomes a reflex—an automatic response.
Astrology: The Mirror of Divinity
The number six is the number of the material world. It is the number of humanity. For humanity to exist as a mirror of the perfection of divinity, we must travel six lines of respect, every day in every way. The respect of these things has to become part of our automated response, if we are to reach the number seven—the number of perfection.
